The Course Advisors (Studienfachberatung) or Departmental Counselling Offices (Studienbüros) at the faculties offer detailed information and counselling on the content, the structure of the courses offered and on personal timetabling. These services as well as the staff responsible for the recognition of credits and periods of study acquired at other higher education institutions and the assignment to a more advanced semester of study are to be found from the websites of the respective institutes or departments, and in the Course Catalogue (click at Vorlesungsverzeichnis).
