Guided tour across Campus Nord
The face of Campus Nord is still being developed, as several institutions and facilities will be constructed or relocated here to be in the immediate vicinity of the medical school Charité. Once this process has been completed, Campus Nord will be associated simultaneously with modern, cutting-edge scientific institutions, such as the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience, and with noteworthy artefacts of Berlin's architectural history, designed by prominent architects such as Carl Gotthard Langhans.
The guided tour across Campus Nord includes the visit to the theatre of animal anatomy („Tieranatomisches Theater”) and a walk across the campus which includes general explanations regarding the historical origin of the institutes located there. A visit to the medico-historic museum („Medizinhistorisches Museum) is not included. Basically, this tour is planned to give a first orientation and an overview of Campus Nord.
This tour approximately takes between 60 and 90 minutes. The tours are bookable on weekdays from 1 p.m. or later because the „Tieranatomische Theater“ only opens at 2 p.m. .
Please note that the tour is for the most part outside, so that it may be windy and coolish.
