Guided tour across Campus Adlershof

The Mathematics and Natural Science Campus Adlershof in the southeast of Berlin is rich in scientific history and it is the venue of one of the largest technology parks in Europe and forms an important part of the "city for research, economics and the media".

Foto: Heike ZappeThe guided tour across Campus Adlershof is a walk across the campus which includes general explanations regarding the historical origin of the campus, the institutes and the surrounding art objects. Furthermore, the place Adlershof is commented on as a scientific location for economy and research. The highlight of this tour is the inspection of the wind tunnel which is a relic from the time when Adlershof was still a location of the DLR institute (“Deutsche Versuchsanstalt für Luftfahrt”).

Basically, this tour is planned to give a first orientation and an overview of Campus Adlershof.

This tour approximately takes between 60 and 90 minutes. It is bookable for weekdays before 10 a.m. and after 15 p.m. . However, it is possible to make individual appointments, too.

Please note that the tour is for the most part outside, so that it may be windy and coolish.
