Two innovation workshops in English will take place this June in Adlershof. The Transfer Lab trains problem solving and ideation techniques on a real life innovation challenge on 5 and 6 June. The Patent Lab investigates ways to evaluate the innovation potential of intellectual property on 17 June. Programme offered by Humboldts Wagniswerkstätten.
1) 05+06 June 2019: Transfer Lab – action-learning workshop in ideation and innovation methods

Work together with Founders of the coaching academy training4impact on one strategic innovation challenge they face.

In the workshop you will learn and practice three skills, directly applied to the partners’ innovation challenge:

  • The Art of Ideating: Go beyond brainstorming – learn techniques for coming up with innovative ideas
  • Rapid Prototyping: Make your ideas tangible, so you can gather feedback from others
  • Iterating Your Way Forward: Evolve and improve your idea to move from plan to action

2) 17 June 2019: Patent Lab - What is the innovation potential in your intellectual property?

Research at HU leads to innovative results. In the Patent Lab you will learn methods to identify the potential and develop possible applications.

In summary you will learn and practice the following skills in the workshop:

  • Intellectual Property knowhow: Overview of potentials and challenges in protecting and exploiting IP rights as a researcher (Dr. Bittner, patent attorney at Boehmert & Boehmert)
  • Case Study: Exemplary analysis of exploitation potentials of a patent by Prof. Benson (IRIS/Nanooptik)
  • Market opportunities: Identify, evaluate and prioritize market potentials
  • Product development: Methods and strategies to develop research results into innovative products and service ideas
