Department of Sports Sciences
Where stables and an operating theatre for horses once stood, there is now an ultra-modern laboratory complex for motion analysis and strength and performance diagnostics. Inside building 11 on Campus Nord, the scientists and students in the Department of Sports Sciences teach, learn and undertake research. The Sports Medicine Outpatient Clinic (opened in October 2015) is also located here.

It is well worth taking a look inside this listed building: the lecture hall (built in 1925), its entrance hall and a staircase were all fully refurbished as part of the restoration work.
The new 2500 m² sports research hall is located next to the Department.
