DESCRIPTION: Su Yu Hsin is a Berlin-based artist and filmmaker whose work a
 pproaches ecology and its close relationship with technology. Investigatin
 g the political ecologies of water, her research-oriented artistic practic
 e examines technology and the critical infrastructure in which the human a
 nd non-human converge.  The eveningâ€™s program features excerpts from Suâ
 €™s Particular Waters video trilogy (2023-2026). These essay films trace t
 he activities of the multinational semiconductor manufacturing company TSM
 C from its headquarters in Hsinchu, Taiwan to its expanding onshore operat
 ions in Phoenix, AZ, USA and Dresden, Germany.  Particular Waters has been
  widely screened in Europe and abroad, including at venues such as the Gal
 erie fĂĽr ZeitgenĂ¶ssische Kunst Leipzig, Taipei Biennial 2023, and Shedha
 lle ZĂĽrich. The screening is followed by a conversation with Dr. Mario Bi
 anchini, Research Associate at the Leibniz Centre for Contemporary History
