Project description
The symposium "Sehnsuchtort Berlin", which takes place as part of the annual conference of the German Musicological Society 2022 at the Humboldt University in Berlin, addresses locations and structures of the musical landscape within the divided and reunited Berlin around 1989 as a space for compositonal developments, transcultural sound stage, (musicological) location and as a laboratory for trends in popular music.
