Transferring new ideas, research results and inventions into the economy and society is a strategic objective of the university, and it is becoming more and more important. The goals of efficient knowledge and technology transfer management include fostering innovation, creating jobs in the region, increasing its overall competitiveness, and providing additional career opportunities for students and researchers.
The Humboldt-Innovation GmbH (HI) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the university and the interface between science and economy. HI supports scientists with initiating and realizing applied research cooperations, contract research and scientific services.
