Venture Service

The Venture Service team supports the knowledge and technology transfer of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin by fostering the establishment of research-based startups with a link to the university. By close cooperation of the Research Service Centre (Servicezentrum Forschung, SZF) and Humboldt-Innovation GmbH, the Venture Service offers assistance to prospective entrepreneurs and existing startups from HU, e.g. with the development of their business plan as well as with finding and applying for funding opportunities and follow-up financing. The young entrepreneurs also profit from a variety of events organized by the Venture Service team.

Additionally, Humboldt-Universität offers office spaces to startup projects, which are located in one of the two “Gründerhäuser” in Berlin-Mitte and Berlin-Adlershof.

The transfer and startup promotion is supported by the means of the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Senate Administration for Economics, Technology and Research.
