Analysis of the Continuing Vocational Training and Adult Education Surveys

In the following, we propose an integrated analysis of the upcoming Second Adult Education Survey (AES2) and the Fourth Continuing Vocational Training Survey (CVTS4) data (reference year in both cases 2010) as part of the European Union»s system of statistics on lifelong learning (LLL).
We intend to provide a sound information basis for European policy in the field of lifelong learning (LLL), with a focus on continuing vocational education and training, and to steer up and support the future use of these two important data sources by policy makers, practitioners such as human resource (HR) professionals, training providers and researchers. Finally, we intend to contribute to the further improvement and refinement of the two surveys in their interaction with one another and with the other elements of the statistical system on LLL.
