Compass-Tutor
The Idea:
When the decision whether to study approaches, many questions come up: How do I apply? Why does the admission procedure take so much time? What do I need to enroll? Where can I find my schedule? Who could help me to find a flat? For all these and other questions there is a new contact person: the Compass-Tutor.
=> If you are an international student with university entrance qualification from another country please contact the Services for International Students.
The Offer
Starting with the application period, we will organise presentations to make necessary information available to both appilcants and their parents.
Following the process of enrolment, the Compass-Tutors will accompany you throughout the first semester. You will find the tutorials offered in the catalogue of lectures and seminars. They will be arranged according to the three large sections of study at Humboldt-Universität: Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Natural Sciences. In both group and individual settings, the tutors will be there to help and support you. For a whole semester. As much as you want.
The Team:
Is made up of students who know and who have mastered the questions and challenges of the first semester. They also benefit of the experience of higher semesters already completed. The tutors participate in various disciplines of study. You can find an overview on this page.
