Welcome to our homepage. Our group has research interests in a number of areas of quantum field theory and string theory. We are particularly involved in studying the interface between string theory and quantum field theory. One focus of interest are extensions and generalizations of the AdS/CFT correspondence. Our group is funded by the Emmy Noether programme of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). We actively participate in the scientific life of the quantum field theory group at Humboldt University.
