Anti-Discrimination

The Anti-Discrimination & Diversity team is the central point of contact for members of the Humboldt Universität community who have experienced discrimination. You can seek consultation from us, find out about relevant support services and report incidents. Even if you have witnessed discrimination but were not personally affected, we encourage you to reach out to us.

Consultancy topics

  • Experiences of racism
  • Age discrimination
  • Discrimination on the grounds of social background
  • Discrimination on the grounds of religion
  • Legal basis for protection against discrimination (AGG and LADG)
  • Options for lodging a complaint
  • Points of contact (internal/external)
  • Networks & community

We do not provide advice on the topics of inclusion & accessibility, anti-Semitism and discrimination on the grounds of gender, as there are specialist contact points for these issues at HU. However, we are happy to refer you to the appropriate services.
