This year’s edition of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academic Freedom Week kicks off with the opening of "Standing for Freedom": Through portraits of scientists, the photo exhibition engages with the topic of exile.

Description
The exhibition is the result of a rich dialogue between scientific research and art, initiated in 2018 by the researcher Pascale Laborier and the Berlin-based French photographer Pierre-Jérôme Adjedj. It features 15 portraits of scientists and explores the theme of exile from multiple perspectives.
You are warmly invited to attend the opening and view this compelling work. Pascale Laborier and Pierre-Jérôme Adjedj will be present, as well as Prof. Dr. Pauline Endres de Oliveira (Berlin Institute for Empirical Integration and Migration Research), who will officially open the exhibition. You are then invited to join a guided tour.
The event also marks the beginning of the partnership between Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Campus Condorcet and will conclude with a buffet.
