Lunch & Learn @ HU: How to thrive as an International Student

You’re an international student at Humboldt-Universität or here with Erasmus? Welcome! Whether you’re starting your bachelor’s degree or pursuing a PhD, navigating a new university can sometimes feel overwhelming. A new university also means a new culture - with its own rules, systems, and surprises.

That’s why the Welcome Centre is inviting you to our Lunch & Learn: an informal lunchtime talk, co-hosted with the International Department and an external facilitator, designed to meet you where you are and empower you to navigate Humboldt-Universität with confidence.

Through tools such as resource mapping and peer-to-peer conversations, we’ll share practical tips, answer your questions, and explore what you truly need to succeed. Over lunch and open exchange, you’ll connect with fellow students, build your network, and discover the many resources HU and Berlin have to offer.
The Lunch Talk takes place in the International Service Centre (room 1068) in the main building (Unter den Linden 6).
