Description
Chronic illness doesn't disqualify you from a meaningful life. It qualifies you to create one on your own terms. This workshop reveals how peer support groups help you tap into your innate resilience. You'll explore why isolation compounds struggle and discover how showing up in your truth, limitations included, creates connections that sustain you and extend to others facing similar challenges. You'll learn to design peer support structures that honor your reality and leave with inspiration and tools to build community where your whole self belongs and thrives.
The event will be held in English in cooperation with SEKIS (https://www.sekis-berlin.de/). Please register here: https://www2.hu-berlin.de/hugs/en/workshop/139/date/827/register
About the trainer: Taylor supports people in practicing personal leadership and creating peer support groups for healthier, more connected lives. With 14+ years in Berlin navigating unconventional educational and career paths alongside mental health challenges, Taylor teaches a lived methodology combining somatic awareness, energetic intelligence, and strategic structure-recognition. Her work is grounded in the belief that you don't need everything figured out to contribute meaningfully...your presence and truth are inherently valuable, and belonging emerges when you offer yourself in service to your values and community.
