Humboldt Graduate School

Successful graduate schools and the doctoral students working at them are being supported as members of the Humboldt Graduate School by an extensive range of services.

Founded in 2006, the Humboldt Graduate School is the umbrella and service organization offering structural programmes in support of doctoral students at Humboldt-Universität, aimed at giving an excellent environment for doctoral work as the first stage of the career of young researchers. In order to be admitted to the Humboldt Graduate School, doctoral work programmes must satisfy the institution’s quality equirements, with the standard of tutoring and training as well as the international context and the principle of equal opportunity being essential criteria.
