Project description

The proposal deals with the activation of C-H and C-F bonds in fluorinated olefins and ethers at the rhodium complexes Rh(R)(PEt3)3] (R = Si(OEt)3, GePh3, Bpin). Based on mechanistic studies borylation, germylation, silylation and dehydrofluorination reactions will be developed. Based on the stoichiometric model reactions, the development of catalytic processes is envisaged.
