Carl Friedrich von Siemens Fellowship

The Carl Friedrich von Siemens Fellowship is awarded to scholars who have given outstanding lectures in the Foundation's scientific programme and whose existing scientific oeuvre gives rise to the expectation that the award of the Fellowship will promote the writing or completion of a significant work. The purpose of the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Fellowship is to release the Fellow from all university obligations for a period of up to twelve months and to enable him or her to work on his or her opus in Munich in an undisturbed and concentrated manner. At the same time, the Fellowship is intended to promote the Fellow's contacts to the scientific community in Munich and to deepen the connection to the Carl Friedrich von Siemens Foundation.
