Daidalos Project - Development of an infrastructure for the use of natural language processing for researchers in classical philology

The central goal of the project is to develop a software prototype for classical philology and related disciplines. It should enable researchers to
1. compile, analyze, and adapt a specific corpus of any size,
2. visualize, save, share, and export the analysis results, and
3. reflect on the results and methodology and refine the research questions or view them from new perspectives.
The Daidalos project will have the greatest impact on the academic culture if, on the one hand, NLP methods are taught and established across the board and, on the other hand, reflection on the methods used becomes increasingly the focus of subject-specific research and publications.
