Christian Antiquity - Digital

The project at hand constitutes a cooperation of the Chair of Ancient Church History and the Chair of Christian Archaeology. Its aim is the digitalization of thousands of slides from older collections and recent journeys depicting motives from the field of Christian art history and history of religions. For many buildings and sites these slides present the only pictorial documentation. The digitalization will enhance the availability of these photographs and simplify their application in courses and seminars.
