Project description

The quality of the reading capacity can be judged by different parameters. Especially acoustic parameters are analysed with regard to their ability to describe the quality of reading efficiency (melody of reading, volume, variety of acoustic signals, break pattern). The business partner (enterprise Witt Berlin) will develop an apparatus to record these parameters during reading.
By comparing the individual pattern of parameters with an ideal reader the reader’s capacity of reading and understanding can be diagnosed. Hereby, a need of support can be diagnosed.
