Project description

Development, production, and distribution of a community hearing aid (CHA) through the application and scaling of an AI-based micro and cluster economy in audiologically underserved regions of the world. The hearing aid offers high directional sensitivity using simple and inexpensive electronic components and is aimed at the growing number of people worldwide with age-related hearing loss, who typically suffer from a loss of speech intelligibility in noisy environments, which has a significant social impact. The first target market for the project is Brazil, where there is a high demand for audiological care. The project aims to improve audiological care, inclusion, and aging with dignity, and to strengthen resilient societies through a local and fair production and distribution economy.
