Project description

The investigations of the three partners (Gesellschaft für AgroBioTechnische Entwicklung und Produktion, Leibniz-Institut für Gemüse- und Zierpflanzenbau Großbeeren/Erfurt e.V. und Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin) focus on the development and application of a new environmental friendly product based on Enterobacter radicincitans to be used in vegetable production.
The Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin takes over investigations on the effect of Enterobacter radicincitans on yield and selected pathogens of asparagus crop as well as mycotoxin synthesis resulting from an infection of the plants with Fusarium spp. Based on the data gained in laboratory, greenhouse and field experiments application strategies will be developed.
