Description
The "Europeana 1914-1918” project brings together ten national libraries and institutions from seven countries with the aim of creating a comprehensive thematic collection of different materials documenting a conflict that was – and remains to this day – one of the defining experiences of 20th century Europe. The project partners intend to create a comprehensive and high-quality collection of First World War material within Europeana that substantially enhances and supplements the content already online. One of the project partner is Clio-online, online network for the historical sciences, based at the Humboldt-University of Berlin.
