Molecular Basis of the Transbilayer Dynamics of Phospholipids in the Endoplasmic Reticulum of S. cerevisiae II

In biogenic membranes phospholipids are rapidly redistributed across the bilayer. Aim of the project is the functional characterisation of molecular mechanisms which mediate the rapid transbilayer movement of phospholipids across the Endoplasmic Reticulum (Flip-Flop), in particular the identification of so-called flippases.
