Project description
A new cultivation method using tubular root sheaths (RWH) is being tested for tree species suitable for low-rainfall areas in Brandenburg. The method involves cultivating oaks in RWH for a few months until ready for planting, allowing their roots to penetrate deep into the soil and develop into deep taproots. The project aims to optimize the production process, test the quality of products, and compare the survival rate, productivity, and root development of RWH-planted trees with traditionally planted trees.
