Project description

Using recent developments of establishing an exact lattice chiral symmetry, a chirally invariant Yukawa-model will be investigated using lattice methods. As a first step, the quenched phase diagram of the model and properties of the emerging phases will be studied. In a second step, the realistic dynamical case will be investigated. Besides the exploration of the phase diagram in this case, phenomenologically relevant quantities such as the Higgs boson and top quark masses and the strength of the Yukawa and Higgs couplings will be computed. In the long run, also the decay width of the Higgs boson will be addressed.
