Multi-sensor system for three-dimensional survaillance and situation analysis

Aim is development and realization of an intelligent modular and scalable system with sensors of different type for monitoring of safety critical infrastructures. Major parts of the project consists of a development of a new generation of intelligent cameras which realizes an information pre-processing and compression, a synchronous data reception of all sensor systems as well as software, which uses the information from the images of several cameras for the generation of 3D information and object identification. The system can analyze and judges events in the observed areas automatically. By the innovative multi-sensor concept advanced and networked strategies of the operators shall be supported. In real time, it shall provide information for the security management about areas where are potential dangers. In the result there will be a security system which consists of special cameras and evaluation computers as well as the new software which have configured for themselves for the all sorts of surveillance.
