Project description

Urban parks provide space for recreation and physical activity. Although the broad environmental and health benefits of green spaces have been referred to numerously in research, they are often unspecified, unquantified and lack scientific evidence. The Junior Research Group will provide quantified knowledge on how urban green spaces contribute to the mitigation of climate change induced challenges and the well-being of city residents and the users of green spaces.
