Open Access Publication Funding / 2022–2024

To support open access publishing by members of Humboldt-
Universität zu Berlin in the years 2022 to 2024, a reliable and efficient
concept for funding publication costs for open access articles in
reviewed academic journals and for open access books will be
continued and expanded during the funding period. This is
implemented by means of corresponding publication funds,
transformation agreements and other models. Accompanying
organisational, technical and legal measures ensure that
comprehensive services for making research results open access will
be provided for researchers. Comprehensive measures in terms of
publication data collection, cost data determination, workflow
development and cross-university coordination are undertaken.
Thereby, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is actively participating in
structural adaptation and development to foster a sustainably
designed and transparent transformation towards open access.
