Seismic early warning for Europe

The EU-project Seismic eArly warning For EuRope (SAFER) has the main goal to increase the quality of earthquake early warning. An important aspect is to minimize the time between earthquake event and the alarm message. Therefore methods and technologies for a reliable detection and a robust transport of the information must be developed. Various interdisciplinary aspects have to focus from a consortium of
international research partners which includes challenges of computer science.
