Summer School: Society and Conflict in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan

Starting from the question, how exactly different ethnic belongings, religious attitudes, regional origins, or other influences do relate to the stability or fragility of a society, our Summer School aims to bring together students and scholars of the social sciences and humanities from universities in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Germany. The main aim of the Summer School will be to examine multiple relations between society and conflict in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, as well as to train the participant' practical research skills.
