Project description
In the current crisis of the rule of law and democracy, constitutional and supreme courts are a key target of attack. This project explores the means available to defend them. Comparative law will be used to analyse the role played by judges in Italy, Germany and France; at the same time, the value of establishing ‘networks’ between national and supranational courts, the legal profession, the legislature and civil society will be examined.
