Consolidation study “perception and evaluation of cleanliness in cities” in residential area Boxhagen Plaza

Aim of the study is the identification of criteria to be used by local residents, business people and residents to judge the cleanliness in a selected urban area of Berlin (Boxhagen Plaza). It is an sequel examination of the previous study “perception and evaluation of cleanliness in cities" and serves as validation and specification of the present results. The specifics of the neighborhood structure, which are prevalent in this area, are considered and their influence on the perception and evaluation of cleanliness are tested. With a semi-standardized interview passers-by are questioned according to relevant criteria of the cleanness.
