HU Institutional Strategy: Berlin Institute for Empirical Research on Integration and Migration (Fundling line Impulse)

The Berlin Institute for Empirical Research on Integration and Migration (BIM) is set to concentrate research on integration and migration, to make interdisciplinary expertise at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin visible and to establish the university as a central protagonist in this socio-politically relevant field through targeted communication in politics and public. The BIM opens up opportunities of interdisciplinary cooperation beyond the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. These are of significant importance for the recognition of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin as well as for the faculty and offers numerous perspectives for international networking.
