Humboldt Innovators Network

The Humboldt Innovators Network brings together alumni of Humboldt-Universität who are driving innovation in companies. Whether working in industry or involved in deep tech - all innovation-enthusiastic alumni who have studied, taught and/or researched at Humboldt-Universität are invited.

We want to strengthen the links between the academic ecosystem and innovation-enthusiastic alumni in companies in the Berlin-Brandenburg metropolitan region. Why? Because we are convinced that we should pool knowledge and resources from both worlds in order to find creative answers to future challenges. Together, we can leverage the impact of technological and social innovations to provide important answers to the climate crisis and scarcity of resources, digital change and securing skilled labour.

Managers and researchers; data analysts, HR professionals and business developers; experts in renewable energy, green chemistry, advanced materials, nanotechnology or other fields - we invite all alumni to join the Humboldt Innovators Network who

  • are enthusiastic about innovation,
  • want to drive them forward in their company
  • and are interested in innovation at Humboldt-Universität.

If your company needs scientific expertise, the Humboldt Innovators Network gives you easy access to the university's researchers and other resources such as government funding programmes for R&D cooperation, intellectual property, etc.

At our events on key technologies such as artificial intelligence, new materials and quantum technologies or overarching topics such as HR, organisational development and much more, you will gain insights into the concrete innovation activities at HU.

At your former university you will meet the specialists of tomorrow, e.g. in the courseInnovation Labs. Here, Master's students work on innovation issues from corporate practice - one of many opportunities to recruit students for company-relevant Master's theses and/or establish contact with potential future colleagues!

The Humboldt Innovation Academy offers a range of practice-orientated training courses and workshops on topics such as digital transformation, change management and inclusion in the workplace. Whether it's an existing course offer or customised in-house training - here you get access to excellent knowledge from the university in the form of application-oriented formats.
