Personal details

Xenia Muth is a manager in the Office for Public Engagement and ​​Knowledge Exchange with Society at Zentrum für Kulturtechnik. 

She is a 2026 Fellow in the 'German-South African Public Engagement Exchange' (PEX) program of the Berlin School of Public Engagement and Open Science. 

In 2025/26 she represents Zentrum für Kulturtechnik as an Ambassador in the 'Open Science Ambassador' program at the Berlin University Alliance. 

Between 2015 to 2022 she was the founder and director of the Office for Civic Engagement at Bard College Berlin and managed the College’s Third Mission strategy. In addition to coordinating various projects on access to higher education, she was involved in establishing the Civic Engagement section of the international Open Society University Network (OSUN).
She studied American and Cultural Studies at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and York University in Toronto/Canada and completed her M.A. in North American Studies with a focus on literature and political science at Freie Universität Berlin.
