Cluster of Excellence

Clusters of Excellence are large, interdisciplinary research alliances that work on innovative topics at the highest level. Across all disciplines, Humboldt-Universität is working with three other Berlin universities as a network on the major transformations of our time. As part of the Excellence Strategy of the federal and state governments, the BUA 2025 has acquired five Clusters of Excellence.

Research

The Einstein Foundation Berlin is funding eleven new research projects with 13 million euros. The focus is on the new Einstein Centre for Early Disease Interception and Kerstin Kaufmann's Einstein Professorship at Humboldt-Universität.

On 22 April, Circle U. will once again host its Climate Day. All HU members are invited to submit events such as workshops, lectures and other interventions and initiatives. The submission deadline is 20 February.
