The German Research Foundation (DFG) has extended the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI) funding line for the FAIRmat consortium, which is based at HU. In this phase, FAIRmat is placing greater emphasis on AI for data-driven science.

Researchers at HU have developed a new method for trapping and controlling atoms. This has significantly improved the atoms’ ability to store quantum information – an important step forward for future quantum technologies.
