Reports and third-party funding statistics

The Research Information and Monitoring Unit in the Research Service Centre covers the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin's research reporting system. With the Research Information System (HU-FIS), it offers a comprehensive research tool for all projects, persons and co-operation partners of the HU research landscape. The research report, which is published every two years, presents the university's research to a global audience in the form of an attractive magazine.

Research reports

According to § 41 BerlHG, the universities of the State of Berlin are obliged to regularly report on their research activities. By publishing its research reports, Humboldt-Universität not only fulfils this legal obligation - the research report is also aimed at its own researchers, but above all at our national and international research partners, politicians, the press, funding bodies and the interested public.

Third-party funding statistics

The Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin's third-party funding statistics are based on third-party funding expenditure, income, applications and approvals. The Research Information and Monitoring Unit currently processes third-party funding expenditure into statistics that not only serve as a basis for the distribution of supplementary funding (EA), but are also included in other reports such as the Presidium's accountability report. It is also made available annually to all relevant organisational units at Humboldt-Universität.
