Continuing education programme

Our continuing education programmes open up new career prospects for you. Whether you want to develop your career, specialise in a particular subject or plan a new start - the degree courses are tailored to the requirements of the working world. They are aimed at professionals, alumni and prospective students with a first degree. The practice-oriented programmes are offered in various fields and qualify you with a Master's degree or certificate.

Promotion

Would you like to do a doctorate at Humboldt-Universität? Then the Humboldt Graduate School (HGS) is the place to go: as a central institution for the strategic promotion of academics in the early stages of their careers, it supports you on your path to a doctorate. The HGS offers excellent conditions for doctoral studies and ensures the high quality of doctoral training. Doctoral candidates receive counselling, support and training here.

Alternative study options

Part-time study

Studying at Humboldt-Universität is usually full-time. Under certain circumstances, you can study part-time, i.e. attend fewer courses per semester. The study and examination regulations continue to apply.

Second degree programme

Have you already completed a degree programme and would like to gain a further qualification in another subject? A second degree programme will provide you with new specialist knowledge - whether for professional development or out of personal…

Further opportunities for further training

Guest and secondary audiences

You can attend individual courses at Humboldt-Universität for one semester as part of a guest or part-time lectureship. These do not necessarily have to belong to the same module.
