Short-term programmes for international students

Winter and summer schools

Study in an international environment and get to know Berlin at the same time: the Humboldt Winter and Summer University has been offering two to four-week summer and winter courses for international students for more than ten years.

Internship

Whether in a research project, the university administration or a Humboldt Innovation start-up - international students can complete an internship at HU as part of their degree programme.

Study in Berlin for four months

Studying in Berlin as a visiting student: research-oriented, transdisciplinary courses, German lessons, intercultural training and a diverse cultural programme - a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge and expand your skills.

Lifelong learning

Continuing education programme

Continuing education programmes generally require a first university degree and professional experience. Further education programmes are usually subject to a fee.

Guest and secondary listeners

Guest lectureship means that you attend individual courses at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin for one semester, which do not necessarily have to belong to the same module.
