Caroline von Humboldt-Professur

The named professorship honours an excellent professor at HU every year and serves as project funding and an award for outstanding achievements in research and teaching. It is endowed with 80,000 euros.

Research

Oleksandra Shumilova and Christina von Braun will be honoured with the Caroline von Humboldt Award and the Caroline von Humboldt-Professur. The award ceremony will take place on 2 December 2025.

Immafeier 2023 - Campus Nord

In addition to Susanne Schreiber, Kristina Jonutytė is also honoured. She will receive the Caroline von Humboldt-Preis. The award ceremony will take place on 26 October 2023.

Corinna Coupette receives the Caroline von Humboldt Award / Ceremony on 16 November.

Tenders

The Caroline von Humboldt Professorship is awarded annually to a female professor at the Humboldt-Universität (HU) upon nomination by the HU. The nomination is made either by the deans, the institute directors or other members of Humboldt-Universität. Calls for applications for the following year are published annually in January.
