Research

Oleksandra Shumilova and Christina von Braun will be honoured with the Caroline von Humboldt Award and the Caroline von Humboldt-Professur. The award ceremony will take place on 2 December 2025.

On 12 November, the HU honoured outstanding theses and doctoral theses with the Humboldt-Preis 2025, with a total of nine researchers receiving awards for their scientific achievements.

Corinna Coupette, an employee at the Max Planck Institute for Computer Science in Saarbrücken, impressed the selection committee with her impressive interdisciplinary approach.
