Services on site

Humboldt-Universität's University Library offers access to millions of books, digital media and modern learning spaces - centrally located at several sites. Here you can obtain knowledge for your studies, research and academic work.

The official Unishop of Humboldt-Universität is located in the foyer of the main building, Unter den Linden 6. All items in the Humboldt Store are also available online. Humboldtians receive a ten per cent discount on all items.

The HU Language Centre offers language courses in up to 14 languages at various levels, many of them in the UNIcert® programme. With certificates, examinations and language assessments, it supports study, career and research.

The Career Centre supports students and graduates up to one year after graduation with career planning and career entry. It offers workshops, counselling, scholarships and networking.

Shaping and co-deciding

Academic self-administration enables all members to help shape the university and represent their interests. It ensures that decisions are not made "from the top down", but are jointly supported.

Student self-administration is organised and run by students themselves. It represents the interests of students vis-à-vis the university and the public. Every student at Humboldt-Universität can participate here.

Leisure and cultural activities

Whether yoga, climbing or volleyball: University Sports offers students and employees over 300 sports courses - on site and online. Here you have the opportunity to pursue your favourite sport or try out a new one.

Four choirs, three orchestras, a big band and many chamber music groups: All this can be found at "Musik an der HU". If you want to make music and meet new people at the same time, this is the right place for you.
