Excellent research requires strong networks! Humboldt University collaborates with leading universities worldwide through its strategic partnerships to foster knowledge exchange and jointly address global challenges.

Strategic partnerships at Humboldt-Universität

Princeton University was founded in 1746 and is one of the most prestigious institutions in the world. Humboldt-Universität has maintained a strategic partnership with Princeton since 2012, based on many years of faculty co-operation.

Université Paris Sciences et Lettres is one of France’s leading research universities and brings together a number of prestigious Grandes Écoles and research institutions in Paris. It has been a strategic partner of HU since 2025.

Strategic partnerships of the Berlin University Alliance

Relations with Humboldt-Universität have existed since the 1980s. Since 2017, it has been cooperating with the University of Oxford as part of the Berlin University Alliance in order to meet current challenges.
