Princeton University

Princeton University was founded in 1746 and is one of the most prestigious institutions in the world. Humboldt-Universität has maintained a strategic partnership with Princeton since 2012, based on many years of faculty co-operation.

Since 2015, the two universities have joined forces to tackle global challenges together. The Universidade de São Paulo was founded in 1934 and is the largest public university in Brazil with over 90,000 students.

The strategic partnership between the University of Zurich and Humboldt-Universität was established in 2019 to jointly tackle challenges in Europe and the world through intensive academic exchange.

Relations with Humboldt-Universität have existed since the 1980s. Since 2017, it has been cooperating with the University of Oxford as part of the Berlin University Alliance in order to meet current challenges.
