As part of the DAAD STIBET programme, funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, HU's International Department can award scholarships for international students and PhD candidates. This call for applications is open to:
- Study completion grant: Students and PhD-candidates who are in their final phase of their studies and require financial support to secure their degree. The maximum duration of funding is up to six months (992€ per month).
- Scholarship for equal opportunities: Students and doctoral candidates who face particular challenges or circumstances, including chronic illnes, disability, refugee status or care work. The maximum duration of funding is five months (500€ per month).
Further eligibility requirements:
You must be enrolled at HU for the entire funding period.
You must not be a German citizen.
You must have obtained your university entrance qualification abroad.
For completion scholarships: The degree must be completed within 12 months of the award date.
