The modular, three-week intensive programme for 30 German students is primarily aimed at industrial engineers and economists, and combines lectures by renowned China experts with intercultural management training and specialist courses led by professors and business representatives.
The programme includes excursions to German and Sino-German companies, as well as daily Chinese lessons and cultural trips to the Shanghai area. This helps to familiarise future professionals with Chinese culture, politics, economics and the language; the accompanying cultural activities facilitate a better understanding between China and Germany and contribute to build bridges between the cultures.
The programme is open to students from all over Germany. Students at Humboldt University can apply and pay a contribution towards the costs.
Dates: 7–25 September 2026 (in Shanghai, China)
