Dr Jeanette Ehrmann’s "Open Humboldt Freiräume" project is developing new approaches to multidirectional memory through participatory research and mutual learning.
The “Open Humboldt Freiräume” funding programme supports researchers who develop projects in collaboration with society. Applications for the 2027/28 programme can be submitted until 23 October 2026.

Humboldt-Universität has many busts of scholars, which are part of it's oldest art collection. They once adorned the former auditorium and are now dispersed across various locations. This collection can now be explored digitally once again.
The final exhibition of the course “Berlin.Kultur.Stadt.” presented student mappings of clubs, cinemas, cafés, festivals, and street art. More than 40 guests discussed the results developed in cooperation with the Kulturkataster.
The Humboldt-Universität art collection includes, amongst other things, over 120 medals. A seminar with students at the Berlin Münzkabinett (Coin Cabinet) focused on this particular genre during the summer term.
