Foreign Direct Investment and Economic Development. The Case of Ghana

Developing countries are continuing to lose comparative advantage in the production of food. The reason is that foood which meets the quality standards of developed countries is both capital and human capital intensive. Therefore, the project aims at analyzing the potential of FDI on the competitiveness of food production in Ghana. FDI are considered not only to provide capital but also human capital and access to international marketing channels.
